The Express Tribune reported, citing a statement from the Pakistan Army, that the operation resulted in a fierce clash between the military and the militants, and the militants were eventually killed.
The Pakistan Army said that the militants had been actively involved in attacks against security forces and civilians.
It was also reported that the Pakistan Army had recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the militants’ hideouts.
The militants were believed to be members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a militant group that has been fighting against the Pakistani government for years.
The operation was carried out in the wake of a recent increase in terrorist attacks in Balochistan province.
