The Golden State Warriors have suffered their 2nd loss in a row after going down 101-96 against the Pelicans in New Orleans.
The visitors were the better side of the game in the opener by beating the hosts 22-16. But the Warriors, who did not have their superstar Stephen Curry due to injury, fell behind after the Pelicans took the 2nd quarter 31-24 that led to their solitary point advantage at the intermission. New Orleans kept up the momentum after the break and grabbed the next 2 quarters to win the game by 5 points. The Pelicans will next meet the Raptors in Toronto on Sunday, whereas the Warriors will entertain the Cleveland Cavaliers on the same day.
