Al-Hilal have become the most successful Club in the AFC Champions League, after their 2-0 win over South Korea’s Pohang Steelers saw the Saudi side lift the trophy for a record 4th time.
With both sides having ruled the continent on three occasions, Al-Hilal took the first step towards making history, by scoring the opener after just one minute, thanks to a long-range strike by Nasser Al-Dawsari.
Al-Hilal pushed for more after the break and grabbed a deserved 2nd on the hour-mark, when Bafemi Gomis played-in Moussa Marega to guide his effort past the keeper, and make sure the jubilant Saudi fans stay at the King Fahad international Stadium for Celebrations.
