Italy have got their campaign off to a flying start with a convincing 3-nil victory over Turkey in the tournament curtain raiser in Rome.
Italy, who were kept at bay throughout the first half, finally ended the drought in the 53rd minute when Turkey Defender Merih Demiral scored an own goal.
Roberto Mancini’s side added a 2nd in the 66th minute with Ciro Immobile finding the net on a rebound.
The Azzurri killed off the contest with 11 minutes to go, as Lorenzo Insigne fired a beautiful curling effort into the net.
Italy will next face Switzerland on the 16th of June.
