Team Iran have earned a third victory in a row in the 2nd week of the 2021 Nations League after defeating Bulgaria in straight sets.

The Asian powerhouse dominated the opening set and took it 25-20. The Bulgarians showed some resilience in a marathon 2nd, but Team Melli eventually edged out the set 33 to 31. The Iranians then closed out the match with a strong performance in the 3rd, taking the set 25-22 to complete a perfect run in week 2.

Team Iran are currently 6th in the table with 12 points and will go on to face the USA on Wednesday, before meeting Serbia and Germany.
