The provincial governor of northern Balkh province and chief executive of Jamiat-e-Islami Ata Mohammad Noor demanded the removal barriers preventing the return of Abdul Rashid Dostum to the country.
Noor made the remarks during a gathering organized in Mazar-e-Sharif city, the provincial capital of Balkh province to mark the week of martyrs.
Noor further added that the newly-formed coalition, coalition for the salvation of Afghanistan, is prepared to enter to any deal for the national interests of the country.
He criticized the current formation in the government and said they demand an end to the monopoly of power by certain people.
In other parts of his speech, Noor welcomed the announcement of the new US strategy and called for their further support to the people.
He said the new coalition is sustainable and will never be dissolved insisting that they have support both internally and on international level.
This comes as Gen. Dostum admitted last week that he will remain in Turkey temporarily due to some political issues he is facing and considering the national interests of the country.
The coalition for the salvation of Afghanistan was formed nearly three months ago amid deteriorating security situation in the country and following a series of deadly attacks in capital Kabul and other parts of the country.
The coalition consists of Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum, Ata Mohammad Noor, Mohammad Mohaqiq, and Salahuddin Rabbani.
