An explosion was heard in the vicinity of Dar-ul-Aman road in the western part of Kabul city earlier today.

The blast has reportedly taken place due to an magnetic bomb planted in a vehicle of the Afghan police.

A security official confirmed that the blast targeted a vehicle of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) worker and the vehicle has been totally damaged.

There are no reports regarding the casualties so far.

This was the third blast within the vicinity of Afghan Attorney General Office within the past ten days.

Over 20 people were killed or injured after a suicide bomber targeted the vehicle of the AGO staff in the same area on Sunday.

At least one person was killed and thirteen others were injured after a suicide bomber targeted the AGO staff/employees vehicle in the same area last Monday.
