At least 3 people were injured following an explosion in capital Kabul on Monday, security officials said.

According to Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials, the incident took place near Profesor Burhanuddin Rabbani education university.

Sediq Sediqi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said at least three civilians were injured following the blast.

He said the blast took place following an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion.
