Seyyed Ali Khamenei: Israel regime to receive heavier slap for Gaza massacre

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Israel will receive "a heavier slap" for the regimes ongoing massacre of the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the remarks in the joint graduation ceremony of the students of officer universities of the armed forces held on Tuesday morning at Imam Ali Officers University.

Emphasizing the irreparability of the failure of the Israeli regime, the Leader said, "This devastating earthquake has managed to destroy some of the main structures of the Israeli regime, which cannot be rebuilt so easily."

Hailing the measure of the Palestinian youth who designed such an intelligent operation, Ayatollah Khamenei said that those who say that the operation was done by non-Palestinians have miscalculated.

Blaming Zionists for the recent developments in Occupied Lands, he said, "When cruelty and crime have passed the limit and rapacity has reached its peak, one should wait for the storm."

The brave act of the Palestinians was a response to the crime of the usurper enemy, which had been going on for years and had increased in intensity in recent months, the Leader said.

The Leader emphasized that the Gaza massacre would "bring a greater calamity to the Zionists" after they suffered "an irreparable failure both in terms of military and intelligence".

The Leader referred to attempts to whitewash Israeli crimes and portray the regime as innocent, saying, "Now that the evil and cruel enemy has been slapped, it has resorted to a policy of depicting itself as innocent."

In this path, he continued, others, including the media of the Global Arrogance, also helped the regime.

He hastened to add, however, that such attempts to portray the regime as innocent are based on lies and distortions and are doomed to fail.

"Just because the Palestinian Mujahideen (resistance fighters) managed to get out of the siege of Gaza and reach the military and civilian centers of the Zionists, should [the regime] be called innocent?"

"Whatever the occupying regime is, it is not innocent. It is cruel, aggressive, ignorant, and talking gibberish, but not innocent. No one can turn this hideous monster into an innocent face."

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader said that the US, in an evil plan, created ISIL to disrupt the stability of the region.

The ultimate goal of this conspiracy was to harm the Islamic Republic of Iran, but the armed forces of Iran, along with the armed forces of several other countries, thwarted that sedition as well, the Leader noted.
