Hundreds of people took to the streets of Kabul on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, and condemned US president Joe Bidens decision over Afghanistans funds and asked him to stop enmity with the Afghan people.
Protestors said that 9/11 has no relation with the Afghan people thus; they should not pay the compensation of the victims of the attacks.
They asked for the executive order of Joe Biden to be dissolved as the assets belong to the Afghan people not to any government.
Meanwhile, a similar demonstration was staged by common people, money exchangers, and investors in Jalalabad city of the eastern Nangarhar province in which people condemned the US decision.
The decision over splitting Afghanistans $7 billion has prompted anger not only among the common people in Afghanistan but the de facto authorities in Kabul, former politicians, investors and industrialists, and some regional countries and international organizations.
In the northern Kunduz province, money exchangers went on strike and protested to condemn Bidens decision.
People in Maidan Wardak province have also protested against the decision.
