Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Amir Khan Motaqi said that their struggle to achieve recognition will be continued and expressed hope to achieve the objective soon.
In his recent interview with AFP, Amir Khan Motaqi said that their interaction with the rest of the world is quite normal which a big step forward is to achieve recognition.
Amir Khan Motaqi said that they have gotten closer to the objective.
"There has been lots of improvement in achieving recognition, having political and economic engagement with countries is the effects of recognition. To whomever we have talked, we have achieved something." Said Motaqi.
The acting FM reiterated that they have done nothing as a result of pressure from other countries but have done everything based on their principles and policies.
He apparently meant the reopening of universities in tropical provinces of the country that happened on Wednesday.
This comes as not country has recognized the Taliban yet.
