The Phoenix Suns have cemented their place at the top of the Western Conference after edging past the Mavericks 109-101 in Dallas.
The hosts were the better side in the opener by taking it 26-22, before grabbing the 2nd with a 4-point margin which led to their 53 to 45 advantage at the intermission. Both sides then delivered a good performance after the break as the 3rd quarter was tied at 27-apiece. But, the Suns turn the tables on the Mavericks in the final quarter by hammering them 35-19 to earn an 8-point victory at the end of the game, registering their 5th victory in a row. Devin Booker and Chris Paul combined 48 points for Phoenix, while Luka Doncic bagged 28 points for Dallas in the losing effort.
