US secretary of state Antonio Blinken spoke with Abu Dhabi crown prince Mohamad Bin Zayed and discussed Afghanistan along with some regional issues, wrote Blinken on a twitter post.
US department of state in a statement said that both discussed vital regional issues, bilateral interests and the extension of bilateral cooperation.
The statement reads that Antonio Blinken expressed gratitude to the crown prince for his countrys cooperation during US evacuation from Kabul and playing role as third country for both Afghan nationals and the US nationals.
As per the statement, the secretary of state also thanked Saudi Arabia for its humanitarian aids to Afghanistan.
In recent engagement of Saudi Arabia with Afghanistans new government, the country sent a 14-member diplomat team and the country is reportedly willing to reopen its embassy in Kabul.
