الجيش الأمريكي وحلفاؤه يجلون نحو 11 ألف شخص من أفغانستان خلال يوم

أعلن البيت الأبيض أن الجيش الأمريكي وحلفاءه أجلوا ما يقرب من 11 ألف شخص آخرين على متن 50 رحلة جوية من أفغانستان أمس الاثنين.

وجاء في بيان المكتب الصحفي للبيت الأبيض: "من الساعة 3:00 إلى 15:00 بحلول وقت الساحل الشرقي (10:00 حتي 22:00 بتوقيت موسكو) في يوم 23 أغسطس، تم إجلاء ما مجموعه حوالي 10.9 ألف شخص من كابل".

وقام الجيش الأمريكي بـ15 رحلة جوية خلال هذا الوقت، مما أدى إلى إخراج 6.6 ألف شخص. وقام حلفاء واشنطن في التحالف بإخلاء 4.3 ألف آخرين في 34 طائرة.

ومنذ 14 أغسطس، قامت الولايات المتحدة بإجلاء أو تسهيل إجلاء ما يقرب من 48000 شخص من أفغانستان. وقال البيت الابيض: "منذ نهاية يوليو نقلنا نحو 53 ألف شخص".
