Death toll from the recent flooding in Afghanistan reached to 190 and wounded further 172 civilians, including women and children, according to Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority.
Ghulam Bahauddin Jilani, Minister of the ANDMA, said in a press conference Tuesday that at least 190 people have lost their lives due to floods across the country.
Around 1055 houses were completely destroyed and 2960 other housing structures were partially damaged, he added.
The figures came after a heavy rainfall hit several provinces in the country, with Parwan bearing the worst, as it costed major loss and human lives.
