Spanish football organizers have announced that clubs could begin the path back towards normality this week for the first time since activity was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
La Liga said clubs in the top two divisions could return to individual training from the 4th of May following a protocol it had agreed with Spains sports and health authorities which guarantees the safety of players and staff.
The protocol obliges players to undergo testing for the Covid-19 before they can return to training facilities.
Spanish clubs will be able to start first individually then in small groups and finally full-squad training which needs to last at least 2 weeks before they can return to full competition possibly in mid-June.
