Spanish La Liga title holders, Barcelona, have started the new season with a comfortable victory over Alaves, at Camp Nou.

The Catalan Giants missed many chances during the first half, but Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi, started the new La Liga campaign with a goal, converting a free-kick in 64th minute.
Brazil midfielder, Philippe Coutinho, doubled the lead for Barca, with a lovely right-footed curling-shot, with 8 minutes remaining. But, that was not the end, as once again Messi found the back of the net, tapping home Barcelona’s 3rd in stoppage time.
