Ready to resolve all issues with Pakistan through dialogue, says Ghani

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani says the Afghanistanian government is prepared to resolve all issues with Pakistan through negotiation on government-to-government level.

According to the Office of the President, ARG Palace, President Ghani made the remarks during a meeting with Britainís High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew.

In his meeting with President Ghani, Mr. Drew said the launch of negotiations between the two countries on government-to-government level is a positive step forward.

Mr. Drew further added that the government of the United Kingdom welcomes the launch of the talks and is prepared to assist at all level.

In his turn, President Ghani welcomed the British Higher Commission Thomas Drew to Kabul and said peace is one of the main demands of the Afghan nation as well as the priority of the government.

President Ghani further added that the Afghan government is prepared to take all steps needed to ensure peace and prosperity of the people.

He also added that the Afghan government is prepared to resolve all issues with Pakistan through government-to-government level talks.

The Afghanistanian President also emphasized that the establishment an environment trust between the two nations is key to ensure peace and prosperity of the people of the two countries.
